Cornwall Day One: Lacock Abbey & Light Drawing

12:27

For A-level Photography, we went on a trip to the beautiful town of Cornwall as part of our project which is 'exploration and discovery'. Cornwall is a fantastic place to go to take pictures because there are so many amazing places to visit and photo opportunities every where you go. It took us 7 painstaking hours to get there in a bus however it wasn't all bad as we got to watch some movies and we made a fair few pit stops on the way there.  We were so lucky to spend 4 days in Cornwall, and I believe I managed to capture the essence of such a wonderful place through all the photographs I took. We visited Lacock Abbey, St.Ives, Barbara Hepworth Museum, Geevor Tin Mine, St.Michael's mt, Cape Cornwall and The Eden Project.

Firstly on the way to Cornwall we stopped at thenFox Talbot Museum and Lacock Abbey, which is a beautiful building with amazing gardens and the indoor decor is stunning! There is also a beautiful greenhouse full of plants and flowers. Also excitingly Harry Potter was filmed here!

Recognise these hallways?
Beautiful stairway and garden of the abbey.
 How tumblr of you.
 Selfie opportunity.

In the evening we went out to the harbour when it was dark and took our tripods to do some light drawing. We set up our cameras on tripods, put the shutter speed on time delay for 15 seconds and stood about two meters away from the camera making movements with our torches and glow-sticks.
We did them mostly in groups because it was harder to spell out words by yourself.

A failed attempt to write my name lol.
I drew the wings on the right.
When I was being drawn around.

It started to get cold really quickly, so about two hours in we decided to pack up and call it a night and we walked back to the hostel.
